    Within 3 days I found no less than 4 defects. What do I do? Go over the entire vehicle. List of defects jumps to 7.

    I emailed Jefferson Ford and got in touch with a service advisor. I book the car in to get fixed up straight away.

    They fixed up most of the defects, cannot find a gearbox noise, found the panels out of alignment, told me they need it for approximately a week to fix the panels. I book it in to drop it off another time.

    Fast forward another week, I get the car back. And I immediately get the service advisor to go on a road test with me. When I climb into the car, it now has a extra 87kms on it. It also has on the passenger seat a Do Not Disturb sign from a motel... Again, the service advisor tells me that he noticed it when he jumped in the car to bring it to me and that it was not there when he picked up the car the previous week, when I had the vehicle for approximately an hour. Safe to say, Jefferson Ford cannot explain how my car got a wheel bearing damaged badly enough that it was audible at 40kmph, cannot explain the high mileage along with the DND sign on my passenger seat and have completely ignored me about the gearbox noise telling me that they test drove 2 other manual v8 mustangs and the noise is the same in all of them. They offered for me to test drive them and hear the noise, but then since then, apparently the two they had disappeared the same day they told me they drove two other mustangs and found the same noise in each. They now will not respond to my emails or phone calls.

    Service: They will put a sticker on your windscreen telling you that a service has been done, however, you will find nothing in the book. When I asked them, they said: "it's not a proper service. Not a book service, it's just a oil and filter change". If you are not careful about this, you will be out of warranty as you will miss the service.

    Recently I had the pleasure of ordering the vehicle I have always wanted. A vehicle of my dreams. A new Ford Mustang from the manager of this dealer. I was promised regular updates... never occurred. Let's fast forward to when I pick up the new vehicle.

    Great Service! Bought Holden Evoke VF 14 in August 2017, and found something wrong with park assist. Came back to the dealer, and they helped me out. Thanks to Hughes (Service Department) who help solving the problem. Thanks to Wayne Y, James, Ben and Paul for the friendly service.

    The entire team were fantastic! Nothing was too much effort and they all made it such a great experience. I’d highly recommend Jefferson Ford and will be telling all my friends to buy a car from them. Everyone I dealt with was lovely, I’ve never bought a new car before and everyone just made the experience for me enjoyable, from helping me choosing the right car for me, helping me with my finance and also my tinting and paint protection.     I was extremely excited, I jumped in the car along with the New Manager Frank. Who proceeded to demonstrate the vehicle to me. Couldn't connect my phone via blue booth, went to pop the hood of the car, and the bonnet release came off and wouldn't go back on correctly. Being that I was on work time, I really didn't give the vehicle a 100% inspection. It is a new car after all and I have purchased new cars before with no issues.

    Safe to say, I won't be taking any of my business to Jefferson. I am now booking my vehicle into another local dealership to look at the gearbox noise and when it comes back needing a gearbox I know I will be going through and ombudsman to get it done. Not to mention that out of the five months I have had my car, Ford has had my vehicle for 5 whole weeks.

    Also, I went back with hidden car defects and they they will try and dodge claims for statutory warranty and put it back on the car's brand for general warranty claims.

    2nd hand dealer: Very bad customer relationship from the manager. The manager actually came and asked me, the client, if his employee's breath smells like garlic. Also they said that the car will have a service done prior to delivery after purchase.

    I get home that night, park it in the driveway. Car starts rolling down hill. Perfect. Handbrake needs adjustment after 47kms (I picked it up with 13kms on it). I take it out that weekend, I notice the gearbox already sounds strange, synchros are already noisy in first and second gear. I get home that evening and give it a good wash on the Sunday what do I find? Panels out of alignment. Something you don't really noticed when your super excited to get your brand new car.

    That time comes around, I drop the vehicle off, I call after a week of hearing absolutely nothing. The car needs a second week to fix the panels. On top of that I get pictures of my car at a completely different location to Jefferson Ford. Its now parked on the curb outside a panel shop in Braeside. Considering Jefferson Ford told me it was at there location... After two weeks, I get the vehicle back, it gets dropped off by a service advisor, who drops it off and disappears straight away, I immediately check it out, take it for a drive and it has a wheel bearing noise in it. I emailed Ford again and within the hour the advisor picked up the car and mentioned how he heard the noise when he was driving the car back to me and was wondering what it was... The car had done 37kms in the two weeks it was with them.
